Poland Upgrades, Still Sucks

President Bush is such a compassionate person. He is doing everything within his power to defend the world from the pure hatred that is terrorism. His most recent action is just another example of his brilliance. The two term President has now made a commitment to Poland to help them upgrade their military equipment and create a modern army. Nevermind that the United States still needs upgrades to their equipment and they are in the middle of a war. With nearly a trillion dollar budget, isn't it possible that we fund our own troops instead of everybody else's? It only seems appropriate that the song "How Bizarre" started playing on my computer as soon as I finished my last sentence. Maybe the newer equipment will be lighter, so the Polish army has less trouble throwing it down as they run away.

Above: Current Polish Military Equipment

The bigger question is this. Does this put the status of Poland as the Mexico of Europe into question? Will a modernized military make them more of a Canada of Europe? These are questions that will take some time to answer. One thing remains certain: Poland should keep their diseases to themselves.

The Polish are part of the "Coalition of the Willing" in Iraq. Though they are pulling out because apparently it is out-of-fashion to be in Iraq. So if they help us break something but don't stay 'til its fixed, the Polish must lack a sense of responsibility.

You hate Poles, don't you ? What happened ? A Pole took your girl (or partner) ? Any Polish guy or girl you meet is smarter than you ? You earn less than polish immigrant living next door?
I got furious, when I sow your post. Now I think, you are just a pathetic little guy, who has nothing to say. You just suck, and what's worst, you life suck and you know about it, so you just shoot with everything you got into everything you see, trying to offend as many people as you can.
I'm just sorry about you.

I'll bet he's Polish...his English spelling is a disaster. I love flame posts, especially when they contain spaces before question marks. This reminds me of "all your base are belong to us."

Kudos Wolfmoon, hey sage of lies, what the hell is wrong with you? if you know that poles are better than you then just admit it, don't be a sore loser. once again he uses a picture to represent the polish army when it was the main superpower in europe. now its an even better army considering the surcumstances. If the USA were invaded even once the way poland was invaded multiple times, the USA right now would be like hades, even the poor ass iraqis would be laughing at the stupid US citizens who dont know how to light a campfire if their precious power goes out. and another thing, the us' nuclear missles are just a replacement for what they don't have, just like alaskans buy big guns to make up for their tiny things. and bush, wtf? he's a stinkin texan who duznt know the difference between a tv and a computer! talk about stupid!

Your post is truly regretful. If you knew anything about Polish history you would never dare to post such bullshit. Better do your homework and learn some history, you would possibly get to understand why general Kosciuszko and others are considered US heroes today (West Point hero). You would learn that Poland was powerful European empire by 17th century, that Polish army stopped Turkish horde and Islam flooding medievial Europe. You would also learn that Polish army prevented progress of Bolshevik army aiming to spread communism all over the continent (1920). German generals openly admitted huge courage, determination and devotion of Polish army facing two-sided aggression. Monte Cassino battle, Ander's Army, not to mention tens of other examples of unprecedented courage. Polish nation was brave enough to break teeth of communist beast in 1989. Polish intelligence arranged escape from Iraq and saved lives of 3 top CIA spies in the days preceding Desert Storm operation. No intelligence service of any other country took up this task as this was considered unimaginable. The undercover operation was subsequently awarded by reduction of Polish external debt as well as an early accession to NATO. Polish special forces, so called GROM squads helped delta force secure the most risky operations during second Iraqi war. And last but not least, to compare Poland which currently is leading Emerging Market of Europe (still no recession officially declared) to Mexico must be stupid joke, nothing else. Regarding US promise of reinforcing Polish Armed Forces: many lives were lost, money were spent, why should the Polish nation pay for US wars ? We only require you to fulfill promises that were part of the deal. Your nation owes our nation billions in what you saved by the very fact that we finished communism and the Cold War. Your saved expenses were at our cost. As were our loses due to the deceitful deal you made with Stalin to buy some peace of mind for Western Europe. And go back to elementary school, you prejudiced, retarded and undereducated Yankee.

Btw, you might also want to learn about Casimir Pulaski, father of US cavalry. Other names worth mentioning include Zbigniew Brzezinski, Stanislaw Ulam (Manhattan Project), John Paul II (anti-communism, diplomacy). US success is partially built on achievements of Polish-American diaspora, but that's one of the lessons you apparently missed.

Anonymous, you are so right. Go Poles, hurrah!
Let me also add this cherry to the top of that sweet comment: Do you know what the US commanders say when our special forces and elite units come for a co-op training? 'We shut the hell up and you show us how to be real soldiers.' Enough said.

Sage of Truth: the US invasion of Iraq makes no sense whatsoever to any nation in the world, save for the White House. It was YOU who told us that Iraq was evil like the Nazi Germany had been. Now almost ONE MILLION Iraqis have perished since 2003 due to you "terrorist crisis", most of whom were no terrorists at all, but simple civilians whom you treat just like the Nazis treated their conquered nations during WWII. You basically robbed them out of land and resources - Iraq took the IMF and WB loans to rebuild their country, and it is the US corporations who do the reconstruction, plant their GMO crops (which even the US farmers don't want) and suck the oil out. And with each passing day it becomes more and more clear that (since there were NO WMDs!!!) your armed forces were used to claim an economic colony - and you WON'T pull out from there until your corporations and political interests rob everything there is. So don't you dare saiyng about responsibility. Your country started that war for false, outrageous reasons, fooling your own military into fighting and dying - you clean your own mess.

BTW. If you find the above-said outrageous, take some time to think: We attack Iraq, who has no WMDs. Crazy North Koreans have just tested a real nuclear bomb, becoming a real 'rouge state', we sit on our palms and turn a blind eye. Why? Not enough promising land properties, or is there too little oil?
